Summary
The aim of the group is to create a framework by which ESCIS and other local information databases can be published and shared on- and off-line to make the best use of the wide variety of information in the public domain. To facilitate updating and indexing processes for community groups

Much of this work will be done under the framework of East Sussex Information Alliance (ESIA)

Development of common standards for

• Keywords, Search engines
• Geographical characteristics, for future use in GIS (Geographical Information Systems) e.g. clickable maps, searching on affinity areas.
• Hosting
• Sharing publications
• Linking of mailshots
• Updating of core data across the county
  e.g. a "Submit it" service, where groups can update their information centrally but where individual groups are responsible for maintenance of their own information.
